Basement Flooring

Sadly, I did not get any pictures of the original basement. When we first moved in, we had no idea what we wanted to do with the space. It had cream berber carpet and lime-ish walls. We used it for storage initially.

We realized the space was large enough for a comfy, TV lounge area and the other side could house a pool table, darts, etc.

First things first, we had to update the flooring. The carpet had to go.

We went to Home Depot and picked out the Restored Wood Lifeproof vinyl flooring. This vinyl plank flooring looks like real wood and has the “Lifeproof” benefits of 100% waterproof with attached underlayment, which minimalizes sound. Both great things to have in a basement!

This matched perfectly with the colors we picked for the pool table.
